Why bother?

Goblet of Fire is coming... Manila will be one of the first countries to have it. I believe even ealier regular screenings than the States because we premiere movies Wednesdays while them Fridays. Hehehe... I guess being third world doesn't mean we can't spend on movies.

I have recently installed a wireless router at home for our DSL connection. In 2 weeks, from a crappy 1 pc - modem system to a beefed up 2 pc, 1 laptop - wireless network. Not bad. Not bad at all. Now, about keeping my sisters from downloading everyhting on the internet about F4...

Desperate Housewives is moving along in the States. And I have seen the first 3 episodes already of the second season. Yeah... those bitches are even crazier this time around!

Mobile devices these days are getting more complicated & expensive by the minute! This time next year I bet they already have everthing running on electricity in one device. It's hard keeping up! I buy a new phone today, tomorrow half of the folks I ride with in the suttle service to work will have an even newer phone half the price I bought mine! I've leaned my lesson, I buy my phones now the same week they release them. So that I have at least a month or so of bragging rights before everybody else catches on. Downside is I pay something like 10k more than if I buy it a month after. But take my word for it, the shock and awe in the faces of my shuttle mates as they see my spanking new phone - priceless.

I noticed that in the past year that the biggest news are about natural disasters. 1 Tsunami, 2 Hurricanes, 1 Earthquake. Are we seeing the beginnings of the Day After Tomorrow? I would I say yes... but if we spot a meteor or a comet heading earth's orbit in a week or so, then maybe Armageddon? Something big is going to happen... I can just feel it.

But then again... I'm just bloated worthless git ... so why bother?
